Reading the paper

One of my favourite hobbies is reading. It is important for little bears to read a lot. I like to read the newspaper, even though some of the stories are a bit complicated for me!

Chocolate bear

Little Paddington loves his chocolate. He always eats too much. What a naughty little bear he is!

Little Paddington and Mr Robin

This is Little Paddington's friend, Mr Robin. He likes to fly around our garden. I wish I could fly like him! At this time of year it is cold for robins too. Little Paddington likes to leave nuts and bread out for the birds to eat.

Please DO feed the bears!

Little Paddington's snow adventures

Poor Little Paddington! We had to dig him out of the snow! I don't think he will start any snow fights again!

Little Paddington liked being able to see his footsteps in the snow.

Snowfight

I had a snow fight with Little Paddington, and it seems that he struck the first blow ...

.... but I won in the end! Poor Little Paddington was covered in snow! It's a good job he was wrapped up properly. It took him a long time to get warm afterwards. He had a mug of tea and a marmalade sandwich whilst sitting on the radiator to warm up!

Snow!

Little Paddington had never seen snow before and was very excited when he saw the garden all covered in white! The snow was very cold though and he had to wrap up warm. Little bears should always wear hats and gloves (and big thick blue duffel coats) when they play in the snow.

Little Paddington playing Playstation

When it is cold outside, Little Paddington prefers to stay indoors in the warm and play on his Playstation. He only plays for a short time however, as bears who play computer games too much can get square eyes and we don't want that to happen!

Christmas friends

We had lots of friends over for Christmas, and even Father Christmas popped in for a mince pie!

Little Paddington's present

This is Little Paddington's lovely present from Father Christmas - an iPod shuffle. Now he can listen to his favourite pan pipe music on the train! He's a very lucky bear.

Christmas Crib

This is our little Christmas crib. I wanted to have a real lamb and a real donkey but Daddy Paddington wouldn't let me!

Christmas Bear

This is our lovely Christmas tree. I decided that I would be the angel on top of the tree this year! However it is much higher than it looks, and I am scared of heights!

Stuck!

Oh dear, I think I got stuck in the letter box! I was trying to see if I had any Christmas cards in the post, so I climbed into the letter box to have a better look. Next time I will wait for the postman to come!

My new glasses

Today I got some new glasses. They will help me see better, and maybe I won't go bumping into things as much!

Washing Machine Bear

Today I noticed that my lovely red duffel coat was dirty, so I thought that I would get inside the washing machine to clean it. Little bears shouldn't get into washing machines as they are dangerous, and they should let bigger bears wash their duffel coats for them.

Paddington Family Christmas Portrait

(From left to right) Daddy Paddington, Paddington, Little Paddington, Beefeater Paddington, Cousin Paddington.
It is nice to have the whole family together at Christmas time, and we all share our stories of our adventures from throughout the year!

Internet Bear

One of my favourite hobbies is to use the computer and go online. I often get into trouble buying things on eBay that I cannot afford!

Watching the world go by

Sometimes I like to just sit down and watch the world go by from my favourite park bench. Some days I count the clouds in the sky, or look at the planes, other days I look at all the nice birds that fly by.

Sunbathing bear

When it is hot outside I like to go sunbathing. My lovely duffel coat gets too hot for me in the summertime so I take it off sometimes!

Climbing the stairs

Today Daddy Paddington showed me the safe way to go up and down the stairs. Daddy Paddington is bigger than me so it is easier for him to climb the stairs. I am only little so it was harder for me! Little bears should remember not to run up or down stairs because it is dangerous as they may fall and hurt themselves.

Headphones

Daddy Paddington has some nice headphones. I wish I had headphones like his. One day when I grow up to be a bigger bear, I can have cool headphones too. Bears should always remember to listen to headphones at a reasonable volume, as loud music can hurt a little bear's ears.

Thirsty bear!

Today I was out gardening and I got very thirsty and needed a drink! The tap water was nice and refreshing, but little bears shouldn't drink from outside taps as the water may be dirty and hurt their little tummies.

My ironing adventure

Today I learnt how to iron my clothes. Daddy Paddington showed me how to use the iron, but little bears should be careful when using irons because they are hot and can burn a bear's fur.

My Flowers

This is me smelling some lovely flowers. Bears with allergies should be careful when sniffing some flowers.

New shoes!

Today I got some new shoes. I was very excited, but I think they might be too big for me. Oh dear!

Me and my jigsaw

When it is cold outside, I like to stay indoors and play with my jigsaws. This the biggest jigsaw I have ever had! It has 1000 pieces!

Paddington Bear's guide to kitchen safety

Microwaves are too complicated for little bears, and they should remember not to put shiny spoons in the microwave!

Oven's can be very dangerous for little bears, and they should take care not to fall in the oven whilst opening the door. You can use an oven to cook nice big meals, but a little bear should perhaps let a bigger bear show them how!

It is important not to touch the kettle whilst it is boiling because it is very hot and can burn little bears. Get a bigger bear to lift up the kettle to fill it with water, and remember not to drink the tea or coffee straight away because the water will be too hot!

Me and my friend

This is my best friend Mr Monkey. He hangs around in the kitchen a lot, and I often talk with him and play games with him.

Brushing my teeth

It's important to remember to brush your teeth. Having healthy teeth and gums is just as important for a bear as it is for a human.

Paddington's first blog posting!

Hello! This is my first blog posting! This is me fast asleep, all tucked up in bed.
